August 08, 2005Ok, now where was I?~Rowan 29 Navigator knit with Lion Brand Cotton-Ease in black and white~ Now I've attached a plenty of sleeves, but somehow I never really invested any time in trying to get to the knitty gritty of really understanding the shaping and how it could relate to "seamless" seaming and "not so seamless" seaming. Reading a featured Design Workshop on attaching sleeves in Rowan 32 was really helpful in taking a new approach to attaching those sometimes pesky sleeves. Check it out if you haven't already. There are a variety of different sleeves with great pics. And if I can ever finish it, I have a few bottoms in mind to accompany the little stripey top. It's good to see your blog back :) Posted by: empress at August 15, 2005 12:27 AMThere you are! Very cute sweater. Seems like one you will get a lot of use out of. Posted by: Jenny at August 15, 2005 01:25 AMOkay, now I feel better. I have had a sleeveless sweater staring me in the face for AGES. I have used my pregnancy as poor, poor excuse for not finishing what really is a task that scares the poo outta me. I starting attaching one of the sleeves way back when, but it went wrong, wrong, WRONG very quickly and I had to tear it all out. Posted by: cagey at August 17, 2005 09:06 PMHi Froggy great to see you again! I went searching for your blog and I found another Froggy Knits! blog. Now that just ain't right!
