I would be in heaven if I could buy Japanese mags at my Asian market. Yum, I love those little mushroom looking chocolate candies you bought.

mm the kanchyo ones are mashesoyo. I've never tried the other candies though. I've never even heard of a pocky.. But you can't beat an orion choco pie!

I spent 2 months in Korea and couldn't find any knitting magazines! A few people told me that Koreans just don't knit, or something. I'm not sure, I couldn't understand their broken English. I did buy a very cute crochet book though.

In London we have the Japan Centre, and although Japanese sweets with cute packaging are available (yum)... no craft mags. Sob.

I love the pink boxed sweets you got.

My fave Pocky is the one covered with choc and almond bits. It is quite difficult to find and pricey too, so I get it every now and then as a treat for myself :)

I have never seen any of this type of candy here in the US. It looks pretty good. We just have M&Ms and Lifesavers here. I will have to try and hunt some down to taste it.

This means an emergency trip out to the Korean grocery on the other side of town. If I leave work right at 2pm, I'm sure I can get there, load up on goodies, and be back home before the worst of traffic sets in. I'm almost out of udon and steamed buns anyway.
