December 11, 2004It's been far too cloudy to take any FO pics this week so I decided to clean up and clean out. I really want to keep close tabs on my growing/shrinking stash and organizing alone has helped to focus on what I have and actually start using it. I've almost completed two sweaters (chrissie and flo) that were "in th' stash" projects when I started a stash page a while back, woohoo. So in an effort to continue stash busting, I thought I'd add a button for a quick link, too. And can't forget those UFOs. I may try to forget them, but they are still there. Might as well have a button for that too (and i know there are a couple more. i just have to find them, hehe). And ever so inspired by all of the destashing going on in blogdom, I've decided to offer up some as well. If anyone is interested in trading (fun!) or just snatching any of my stash from behind the purple button, drop me a line with details of trade offering/questions/etc here (instead of comments). Partial balls do not have to be included but are available if you want 'em thrown in. ![]() UPDATE: Busted by Lauren, I will soon be adding Audrey to the UFO's. I wasn't trying to pull a fast one. Just wasn't ready to face her, lol. Posted by froggy at December 11, 2004 12:26 PMComments
My oh my... You're sooo organised! Well done! ^_^ You have some great future projects in your "stash" pile!!! ^_^ Posted by: lana at December 11, 2004 12:47 PMi now undersand how you've done so many FO, you're an alien *lol* you're UFO's is so funny !! and you're stash make me dreams !!! Posted by: Annabel at December 11, 2004 01:05 PMWhy no love for the Museum? I just got a hank to make the mittens on the label, but I've seen so many cute sweaters out of it. I was sad when I saw the Cork in the Sale/Trade area, until I realized you had another pack in the stash for you! Why no Audrey in the UFOs? If you send me the sweater, I'll finish it for you! Posted by: Lauren at December 11, 2004 01:20 PMWhat a good idea. It's a nice visual list of everything and you even get to check things off at the end. Those ends on the striped Miss Bea dress are frightening! But it will be SO cute... Posted by: Melanie at December 11, 2004 01:39 PMHow much for the biggy wool and print? I finally got the Java to make the Apricot Jacket from Rebecca! I'm so excited. Very impressive gallery by the way. I'm currenty working on an FO gallery. Posted by: Stacie at December 11, 2004 05:22 PMI'm in awe of your organizational skills. Some great stuff in your stash too. I'll be lookin' forward to seeing all your future projects being created. About your comments about the light being too bad for FO pics - I have the same problem. I like to use natural light for my photos (just more flattering and shows the stitches better, I find... plus it's a tendency that I picked up from art-school), and there just isn't enough light here anymore! The days are so short here now and the sun is so weak. At least the snow brightens things up. ^_^ Posted by: Missy at December 11, 2004 07:59 PMOooh, oooh, I love the misty tank top and the Cork collection sweater! I can't wait to see those. :) Isn't it great to assess stash - sometimes a little overwhelming, but definitely satisfying. :) Posted by: Anne-Caroline at December 12, 2004 10:31 AMThe buttons (and accompanying galleries) are excellent. There's always some fun going on at Froggy's place! ;) Posted by: Elisa at December 12, 2004 11:00 AMI love your buttons. You are definately organized. I think it makes it easier to see what you have going on! Posted by: Eilene at December 13, 2004 07:56 AMFroggy, I have to go through my stash and see what I have to trade with you if you still have the biggy print yarn to trade. I'm a big fan of the biggy print! I'll take a look and see if there is anything you would care to have. Posted by: Elizabeth at December 13, 2004 04:21 PMGreat idea to show your stash and trade yarns - love your little buttons! Posted by: alison at December 19, 2004 08:54 AM |
