Froggy Knits

July 02, 2004

Woo Hoo!

Thanks for the sending those hopeful vibes that I would find more cotton-ease bubblegum yarn! I found out that Michaels had yet another location in yet another not so close town and yippee I found 3 more skeins. They were pretty mangled and not in the proper place with the other cotton-ease. It's almost like they were waiting for someone to find them and give them a good home.
Oh, aren't they cute!

And a good home they will have.

I'm lovin' the short rows again. No ladders on the shoulders and I see three needle bind-off's in my future. And this means I can knit the sleeves down again 'cause Miss Bea’s patterns include charts! I have never used charts before these patterns. I thought they were for advanced knitters, but luckily they are not and they make it easy for the not so attentive, kacha every now and again knitter like me. I just can't stop saying how much I love her patterns. Somebody stop me!

I just picked up 2 skens of cotton-ease (blue something) at AC Moore on a BIG discount today (no bubblegum was left at my store). I'm tempted to go back and retrieve more...

Your Ting-A-Ling is really taking shape! Go girl!

First time I've seen your stuff. They are really great and you do finish them so fast. Love the color combos.

Oh I love that colour pink! Those are cute little stitch holders you have there! I can't wait to see this sweater finished either. I'm lovin' the ruffle trim!

The bubblegum pink is cute. I like the blue ruffle, too. Glad you could find the yarn and keep the mini one happy :)

You are not alone in your love for the Miss Bea books. I just like flipping through them!! They are so cutely styled. Sometimes I forget it's a pattern book.
