May 24, 2004Summer SkirtLooks like I will be rebuilding my side column. Now if only I could just remember everything I had there. Not that I need to add anything to my current knitting basket, but I saw this skirt in the summer 2004 FCEK. I think it's kinda cute, however I am a bit puzzled about how exactly it stays up and how it stays closed. Two key things I like to know about a skirt, lol. Comments
That skirt does look a bit heavy, so yeah, how does that model keep it on with only two strings holding it together?! Posted by: Clara at May 25, 2004 01:24 AMI do like that skirt but you're right, it could be a little dangerous to wear! I think that staying up and staying closed are 2 very important attributes for a skirt!! Posted by: kerrie at May 25, 2004 03:34 AMHi Froggy, the skirt looks great - I would risk and knit it.... What were they thinking? I dont think you would be too sexy wearing it sits around your ankles! Posted by: Lisa at May 25, 2004 07:06 AMI don't trust a knit skirt unless there's a drawstring AND elastic holding that sucker up. Too risky, otherwise. Or use the model's trick - double-sided duct tape! Posted by: Mindy at May 25, 2004 12:53 PMI actually like it , was thinking of making it ...... using different colrs ... Posted by: nasheikah at May 25, 2004 01:18 PMI have that same mag and was wondering the same question, but if you read the fine print it says that there is a button on the inside and the ties are more for looks...You should make it. I think it would be great for the beach! Posted by: Georgia at May 25, 2004 06:44 PM |
