Summer Skirt

Looks like I will be rebuilding my side column. Now if only I could just remember everything I had there.

Not that I need to add anything to my current knitting basket, but I saw this skirt in the summer 2004 FCEK. I think it's kinda cute, however I am a bit puzzled about how exactly it stays up and how it stays closed. Two key things I like to know about a skirt, lol.

I like the cover sweater, too. A more practical choice for me I suppose.

That skirt does look a bit heavy, so yeah, how does that model keep it on with only two strings holding it together?!

I do like that skirt but you're right, it could be a little dangerous to wear! I think that staying up and staying closed are 2 very important attributes for a skirt!!

Hi Froggy, the skirt looks great - I would risk and knit it....
Happy that you are posting again!

What were they thinking? I dont think you would be too sexy wearing it sits around your ankles!

I don't trust a knit skirt unless there's a drawstring AND elastic holding that sucker up. Too risky, otherwise.

Or use the model's trick - double-sided duct tape!

I have that same mag and was wondering the same question, but if you read the fine print it says that there is a button on the inside and the ties are more for looks...You should make it. I think it would be great for the beach!
