March 24, 2004It's Spring and Here's My First Fling![]() ![]() It's the Mission Falls Reversible Tank that didn't quite meet reversible standards in a color sense and is not of Mission Falls. But it's a winner in this house! My mini loves it and insisted on wearing it today. Too cold to wear without something under it, but a hot little tank nonetheless. It's only 44 degrees at the moment. But hopefully it will warm up by the time I finish a summer tank for myself and I will post another picture in a more springy fashion. Project Specs: Pattern: Mission Falls Reversible Tank by Kerrie Now, would I knit this again? Absolutely! I couldn't resist just one more pic and shout out to show our appreciation to Kerrie for the great pattern... ![]() Posted by froggy at March 24, 2004 09:15 AM Comments
I love the pink! Very good modeling, I must say and cannot wait for the next version. Isn't Spring Flinging fun? If only the weather could catch up -- I hope to go buy some pansies this weekend to get in the mood. Posted by: Nora at March 24, 2004 09:57 AMVery nice, I'm glad she loves it! It's great to see people wearing things you've made. Maybe the next (stripey) one can be reversible. Posted by: jen at March 24, 2004 10:17 AMLookin' gooood; color, shape, all are just fabulous - - and what a gorgeous mini-mannequin you have! She's got moves like the ones you see the models pulling in Rebecca. Dammit, now I want one of these tanks - - so much for shortening my spring to-knit list. Posted by: Mindy at March 24, 2004 11:53 AMThe tank is adorable. love the color! And your daughter, wow, she's a beauty! Posted by: jackie at March 24, 2004 04:17 PMYahoo for the reversible tank...It seems like a success to me, reversible or not. And what a cuite you have to show it off! Posted by: Georgia at March 24, 2004 04:45 PMWow - that looks great! Your daughter really looks like she is enjoying wearing it which is a bonus with kids isn't it? Can't wait to see the striped / reversible ones that you come up with! Posted by: kerrie at March 25, 2004 06:16 AMSo cute! You solved my Spring knitting problem -I don't wear these skimpy little tanks that are out there, but I could make them for my kids! Oh, I forgot, BOYS! Oh well, I don't know which is prettier - the tank or the model. I just love when they put something on over a turtleneck. You commented on the DB cotton/angora - boy, was that a splurge - I'm still getting over the guilt... Posted by: Mary Beth at March 25, 2004 12:07 PMWaaaaaay adorable!
