Red Bag (Museum/Artful Yarns)

I have been working on the following bag for a while trying to decide exactly how to finish the trim. I am using Museum Artful Yarns Color 8 Pivoine. See below. Its the best color representation that I could get of the yarn. The other pics are little dark.

The original pattern pic as you will see below is with a trim of ribbing.

Here's my progress so far:

I wasn't that crazy about the ribbing and opted for a row of single crochet followed by a row of reverse single crochet.

I am hoping that I can finish in the next few days, however I don't know where to begin the seaming of this piece and would like to take it a step further and sew in a lining.

Guess we'll have to see about all that.
