Tasseled Cap (Take 2)

Finished a cap today from the Vogue Knitting Caps & Hats Two. It's the tasseled cap sans the tassels. I used JCA/Artful Yarns Jazz in #55. Luckily, the hank had enough yardage to accommodate the first hat's accidental journey to the hamper, washer, and then the dryer. One of my first attempts at felting unbeknownst to me. The first is now a fuzzy disaster that I plan on refelting and shaping up a bit for my mini me.

Voila!

I must say my favorite parts were picking up stiches and the 3-needle bind off in order to create the individual sections resulting in a seamless FO.

Gotta love that.

Here's a closeup of the yarn:

I loved working with it. My first use of a Wool/Alpaca blend.

Here's a look at the pattern picture avec the tassels:

It's a little dark, but you get the idea.

Can't wait to wear it. May have missed my chance now that the weather is feeling kinda springy now. I'll have to leave it out in case we get one more cold snap before the weather is consistantly warm.
